Corporate Video

Project: Health & Safety video for Progressive Waste Solutions

What we did:

  • direct interviews & b-roll
  • raw footage / sound
  • editing
  • logo animation
  • title animations

Another extremely tight timeline, especially considering that the video shoot was to take place in 5 cities in 5 days; Canada and U.S. locations.

HotHouse Creative is incredibly lucky to have such trusting long-term relationships with its clients. Progressive Waste Solutions is currently under negotiations to merge their company with Wast Connections in the U.S. and they wanted to interview employees about their past experiences with the company, their present day pride and what they are looking forward to in the future in consideration of the new merger. We found out about the job 5 days before we left; conference calls were had, preparations were made, flights and hotels and car rentals were booked and the following Tuesday we started our shoot in Brampton, Ontario. The next three days we hit Tampa, Florida, Fort Worth, Texas, and Lafayette, Louisiana and returned back to Toronto late on Friday night. Monday was our final shoot day in Kitchener, Ontario and then we set up to create titles, animations, edit the video interviews and b-roll, and sent the first draft by Wednesday. Progressive’s meeting was on the weekend so timing was absolute. We delivered final video files on Thursday and the client was very satisfied. “(We) wanted to let you know that we got rave reviews of the video at our conference. You did an outstanding job – it really pulled our theme together and was very touching. It’s clear that you were able to make our people comfortable on camera and know our company very well, and the results were amazing. Thank you so much for going out on the road and pulling it together so quickly for us!”
